  1. WHAT’S AHEAD?t

  2. THE PERIL of PROPHECY Definition: something that causes or may cause injury, loss or destruction

  3. What is Prophecy? Prophecy is God informing us through His Word concerning FUTURE events.

  4. Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: Isaiah 46:9-10

  5. What Prophecy is not!! Prophecy is not speculation, nor one’s opinion or interpretation rather…

  6. For prophecy came not in old time by the will of man, but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. 2 Peter 1:21

  7. Prophecy originates with God, never with man!

  8. So what do we know about the days ahead?

  9. DATE SETTING Will Continue!

  10. Martin Luther (1483-1546) said the world would not last 300 years beyond his time.

  11. Christopher Columbus (1451-1506) thought the world would end in 1656. “There are but 155 years left…at which time…the world will come to an end.”

  12. Miller determined the second coming would happen between 1843-1844. A spectacular meteor shower in 1833 gave the movement a good push forward. The build up of anticipation continued until 3/21, 1844, when Miller's one year time table ran out. Some followers set another date of 10/22, 1844. This too failed, collapsing the movement. One follower described the days after the failed predictions, "The world made merry over the old Prophet's predicament. The taunts and jeers of the 'scoffers' were well-nigh unbearable."

  13. 1914, 1918, 1920, 1925, 1941, 1975 and 1994

  14. Jw’s set more dates than anyone! 1975 looked likely as it was computed as the 6000th anniversary of the creation of Adam in the Garden of Eden in 4026 BCE. They interpreted Psalms 90:10 as defining the length of a generation to be 80 years. Since 1914 plus 80 equals 1994, they predicted Armageddon would occur around that year. The latest estimate was 6000 years after the creation of Eve, for which no date can be determined with any accuracy.

  15. Edgar Cayce (1877-1945) predicted Jesus would return in 2000.

  16. 1988 Rapture in Rosh Hashanna Sept. 1988 before Sept 21, Edgar C. Whisenant (Book: 88 Reasons Why the Rapture Will be in 1988)

  17. Harold CampingMay 21, 2011

  18. Examples from the Present

  19. Blood Moons

  20. The Shemitah

  21. CHRISTIANS WILL CONTINUE TO BE PERSECUTED: Jn 16:33

  22. THE RAPTURE WILL HAPPEN: 1 Thess 4:16-18 ISRAEL WILL BE HATED: Zec. 12:2-3

  23. AMERICA WILL DIE: Dan chapters 2 & 7 ISRAEL WILL BE ATTACKED: Ez chapters 38-39

  24. ONE WORLD RULER WILL COME: 2 Thess 2:1-12 THE MARK WILL BE TAKEN: Rev 13:16-18, 14:9-11

  25. PRAY! ENGAGE! BE READY!

  26. “Now learn the parable from the fig tree: when its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near; even so, you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door.

  27. Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words shall not pass away.”

  28. “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone. “For the coming of the Son of man will be just like the days of Noah.

  29. For as in those days which were before the flood they were eating and drinking, they were marrying and giving in marriage; until the day that Noah entered the ark,

  30. and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so shall the coming of the Son of Man be.

  31. The 1st Question We Should Be Asking Is: Could These Be The Days of Noah?

  32. The 2nd Question We Should Be Asking Is: Is There Evidence That Validates this?

  33. So what about the 1st question? Could these days be the days of Noah”?
