  1. Winter makes you crappy and you find cursing everything. All you long for is warmth and some fire. We understand that feeling as well. Making your rooms cozy in winters is the first thing you need to do in your spare time. And it is a lot easier than you think.

  2. Let’s get started on this- • Put a rug that is warm enough to make your space feel warm. Rugs not only make your room warmer to roam in but also add to the overall beauty appeal.

  3. 2. Open the curtains in the daytime and close them as soon as the sun goes down. This allows the heat to remain in the room in moderate amount. Also, it keeps the spaces adequately warm for an extended period of time.

  4. Cover up your upholstery- You certainly don’t want to go to your home which does not feel welcoming enough. Even your custom wood furniturewould not be able to snuggle you if your sitting space lacks warmth and heat.

  5. Make some Bedroom Goals- Stop thinking dirty!! It’s not about what you think it is. Your bedroom is the most intimate place in your house.

  6. 5- Go for warm and dark colours- A no-brainer, dark/deep colours are better at complementing sunlight. Go for shades of red, navy blue, orange, dark grey or whatever is trendy.

  7. Guard your edges- Cover your window and door edges by taping these spots. You can caulk them (if required), or simply put something of a covering against the cold air from outside. Read more: How to Design Your Home From All The Available Décor Styles

  8. 7- Don’t forget your fireplace (if you live in the cold mountains)- Installing a fireplace (traditional or electric) is the best way to keep your room brimming with the heat quotient.
