Monitoring Greenhouses

This case study presents a high-level temperature monitoring solution for 35 greenhouses with 60 zones. The IAS AlertII™ system monitors temperature, tracks heating effectiveness, and alerts when the temperature is out of range. It integrates a web-based platform with historical data storage, email, SMS, and voice alerts. The system supports up to 12 zones per unit, including additional wireless sensors, and can monitor AC power. An optional control dashboard provides a status overview and detailed temperature histories across all greenhouse units.

High-Level Solution Proposed • IAS AlertII™ plus IAS HarvestWatch™ Web-based Monitoring and Alerting Software • AlertII™ that monitors up to 4 Wired Temperatures, or Temp/RH zones – Solar Charging system replaced with 24V DC Power Supply • Support up to 8 additional TempGard™ Wireless Temperature sensors per AlertII™ unit for a total of 12 Zones/unit • All IAS Sensors supported for future expansion • Also monitors AC power • Alerts via Email/SMS/Voice • Store/display historical data • Reports Available • Can alert on any temperature condition or AC fail. • Equipment can be upgraded in future to support heater/fan/vent control
