  1. Me Me All About ME Me, me, me, me!!! Giovanni Brunetti Me

  2. Background • I was born in Sarasota on the Ides of March. • I have traveled to many countries but have only called Sarasota my home.

  3. Family • I live with my parents and with my older brother Nicolas. • My brother is 11 years old. • My family likes to travel to different countries and visit interesting places, like Italy, France, Spain, Croatia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Canada, England and many places in the United States.

  4. Summer • This summer I went to Key West and snorkeled in the coral reefs. • I went to Gainesville to see my dad’s inherited property in the country. • I went to Orlando for my mom’s dental convention and Downtown Disney for the T-Rex restaurant. • I had basketball camp, golf camp, sword fighting and archery camp. • I went to England to see all the castles, Stonehenge, and all the sites.

  5. Hobbies • I like sword fighting, archery, and Jujutsu. • I enjoy playing chess, climbing, and running. • I love to see new and exciting places. • I have practiced and enjoyed piano for 4 years.

  6. School • My favorite subject in school is reading and science. • What I like about school is that you get to learn more and get smarter.

  7. Compare Noah, the main character in Flush, showed that he cared about nature. On page 180 and 181, Noah sneaked into the Coral Queen boat and made his plan to save the ocean waters. He almost got caught. • I cared about nature when I told to my brother not to scare off a raccoon in Highland Hammock. • I cared about nature also when I was planting apples and watermelons in my backyard. • Also I care about nature when I put bird seeds out for our local birds.

  8. Contrast In chapter 15, Noah stole Rado’s boat. • I don’t steel! One day I saw $25 on top of a table at a restaurant and I didn’t take it even when I had a perfect chance. • My brother doesn’t steal either. In Publix my brother found a $20 dollar bill on the floor, but found the owner and gave it back to her. • I don’t steal because the Bible says not to, my parents say not to, and I have pretty much all I want.

  9. Social Studies Connection The character in the summer reading book felt the need to protect Florida's unique environment because the human waste was going to kill all the sea life in that area.
