eBusiness Lesson #2 • Treat the Internet as an integrated component of your marketing mix. • Look at the World Wide Web and Electronic Mail as media equivalent to print and broadcast media.

Once you have a satisfied customer, you have a repeat customer!!!
eBusiness Lesson #7 • Collect and analyze information from your site visitors. • Identify the pages and products that are generating the greatest amount of interest. • Redesign your site to take advantage of the marketing information collected by your site. • Tools like WebTrends and Microsoft Site Server are underutilized. • Get an email address. It makes one-to-one correspondence possible.

eBusiness Lesson #9 • Don’t save money on graphics • First impressions can be lasting impressions. • Your blend of color and supporting images needs to lead to a pleasant experience or, if not well done, it will lead to a “short” shopping experience. • Compress your images for speed.
eBusiness Lesson #10 • Don’t Link to the World • Links lead shoppers away from your site, be careful in providing any links. • If you must, seek a reciprocal link from those that are listed.
