Today’s geometry class will cover an overview of Chapter 3, including a review of theorems and postulates. We will tackle the problem of identifying potential midpoints on a segment, given specific distance constraints. Students should prepare for Unit 3’s test tomorrow or Friday by creating a 3”x5” note card with essential information. Lastly, please remember to clean up the classroom by picking up trash and pushing in chairs. Let's have a productive day, and see you all tomorrow!

SAT Problem – Midpoints Points X and Y are the endpoints of a line segment, and the length of the segment is less than 25. There are five other points on the line segment, R, S, T, U, and V, which are located at distances of 1, 3, 6, 10, and 13 units, respectively, from point X. • Which of the points could be the midpoint of XY?
Work • Unit 3 test is tomorrow (1, 2) or Friday (5, 7). • Make a 3”x5” note card, which may include • theorems • postulates • definitions • formulas • words of encouragement • pictures of cute baby animals • For Monday:Asg #24 (Ch. 3 Algebra Review)
Clean-up / Reminders • Pick up all trash / items. • Push in chairs (at front and back tables). • See you tomorrow!
