  3. Rocket Jobs Designer-Vito Procedure- Teonia Calculator- Joe Folder- Dakota

  4. Scientific Method How far did the rocket go up? How can your eggstronaut survive?

  5. Materials used Cotton balls Cardstock Soda bottle

  6. Building Procedure Make fins of cardstock. Space fins on rocket 3 inches apart. Tape fins. Make cone. Fill cone with cotton balls. Tape on cone.

  7. Our rocket is 9 inches all around. Our cone alone is 3 ½ inches high. Our payload is 10 inches around and 3 inches tall. Over all our rocket is 13 ½ inches tall. Our rocket data

  8. Launching Procedure Stick rocket on launch-pad. Pump air in rocket. Pull string. = Launch!

  9. Hypothesis/ Predictions We thought that the water rocket was going to go higher. We ended up being correct.

  10. Chart

  11. Comparison With the air launch we only added 80 psi. of air. But with the water launch we add 80psi of air + 1 cup of water. The water launch times were much longer than the air launches. Difference between air launch and water launch

  12. Conclusion We found out that water forces the air into a smaller space so that makes the air burst out.
