Companions • The Highest Membership Level in the CMI • By invitation only and at the discretion of the Board of Companions • Individuals deemed to offer outstanding levels of management and leadership within their organisations and sectors • 700+ and growing each year • Some of our Companions • What they do for CMI, Management & Leadership

Ambassadors • A pro-active network of managers and leaders: • That are enthusiastic about management & leadership; • Wish to help shape and promote best practice within management and leadership; • Believe in the lifelong development of managers and leaders; • Are committed to the values and aims of the Chartered Management Institute.

Ambassadors • Support by: • Being spokespersons are regional, Approved Centre, Employer and University events; • Mentoring / Coaching support to member colleagues; • Case Study/PR Contributors; • Specialist areas – contribute to current research; • Academic support – liaising and speaking at schools, colleges or universities on ML & CMI; • Promote the CMI, IC & WiM.

Women in Management (WiM) • WiM is a National voluntary network, established in 1969, affiliated to the CMI in 1999 • Key Aims: • Addressing the key issues affecting women managers today; • Providing opportunities for women’s development; • Lobbying and engaging key decision makers and stakeholders in industry and government; • Working to raise the debate around women’s progression and equality as whole in the workplace.
