IRIS Consultant Position Overview • Work from home • Provide own computer, cell phone, and office supplies • 90 days after an IRIS Consultant graduates from training, they are eligible for a $150 one-time office set-up reimbursement and a $75 reimbursement for office supplies on a quarterly basis • Computer must be a Windows PC (Mac computers can be used, but you must purchase software to make it compatible with our system)

  6. IRIS Consultant Position Overview • Must have reliable transportation • Reimbursed for mileage and paid for travel time • No benefits offered

  7. Training • One-day face-to-face orientation • Enterprise system training through webinar • Shadow visits • Self-directed learning modules • Mandatory monthly webinars

  8. IRIS Consultant Responsibilities • Believes in self-determination and reflects principles in everyday work • Follows the participant’s lead • Educates participant on IRIS program • Performs ongoing home visits and contact with participant

  9. IRIS Consultant Responsibilities • Assists in outcome creation based on participants dreams and goals • Assists with plan development within monthly allocation • Provides assistance to find workers and service providers • Assists in creation of emergency back-up plans

  10. IRIS Consultant Responsibilities • Be resourceful – research services within participant’s area • Be available to the participant and respond in a timely manner
