January Highlights in Mrs. Weber's 2nd Grade Class: Celebrations and Learning Activities

In January, Mrs. Weber's 2nd grade class celebrated birthdays and engaged in various learning activities. Students enjoyed lunch and recess breaks while focusing on math concepts such as subtracting 10, measuring to the ½ inch, and understanding median and place value. The language arts curriculum included linking verbs, punctuation, and sequencing events. Through reading, students explored novels including "A Way to Help Planet Earth". Important dates include a Prevent Blindness event and an open house. Thank you to parents and students for their generous Christmas gifts!
