Each region showcases unique architectural styles—Cedar Plank homes, Chickee homes, Teepees, and Wikiups—designed to withstand local climates. From the cool, rainy Northwest forests to the hot, dry Great Basin, this study highlights the significance of geography in shaping the cultural practices, housing styles, and subsistence methods of indigenous peoples.
