This project delves into the diverse living conditions and environmental adaptations of Native American tribes across four distinct regions: Northwest, Southeast, Great Plains, and Great Basin. Each region showcases unique architectural styles—Cedar Plank homes, Chickee homes, Teepees, and Wikiups—designed to withstand local climates. From the cool, rainy Northwest forests to the hot, dry Great Basin, this study highlights the significance of geography in shaping the cultural practices, housing styles, and subsistence methods of indigenous peoples.
