Cbass lesson plan Teacher: Andrew Aker Class Date: 08 Oct 2010 Lesson Focus: ProfesionsClass: King’s Greetings: Good afternoon /evening song followed by asking how the child is feeling today- answering using actions and full sentences, then moving on to the next child  Review: Classroom elements , activities done in different part of the house. Descrbing animals. Sizes, color, quality. Feelings Interaction Game:Wood, metal, glass, plastic. Touch and recognize obejects in the classroom and what are they made of. Topic: what do you want to be when your big? Fire fighter, Pilot, Doctor, Teacher, Poice officer. Sing and Dance: All the class is involving body language chanting. TPR: Left hand, Right hand, Left leg, Right leg, wake up, brush your teeth, write, sing, dance, play guitar, play piano, jump drink eat… FINISH: What’s the name of the objects in the classroom, what are they made of, what do you want to be when you are big?

Science Lesson Plan and Homework Teacher: Andrew Aker Class Date: 08 Oct 2010 Lesson Focus: Fluency Crashcourse Class: Morning Immersion Greetings: Good afternoon /evening song followed by asking how the child is feeling today- answering using actions and full sentences, then moving on to the next child  Review: Feelings flash cards, Happy, Hungry, Thirsty, Angry, Tired, Sad. Accompany the flash cards with the movements an actions for each feeling. Feelings Interaction Game:Give each of the children a flash card and have them portray the feeling on that particular flash card. Then talk to their neighbour and ask “how do you feel today?” Days of the Week: using the days of the week flashcards and our fingers, g o through the days of the week chanting as you go , then add in “..7 days…” and “..in a week..” Sing and Dance: using the days of the week flashcards and our fingers, play the ‘7 Days’ song, sing along with the track while doing the actions. Making sure that each child is taking part and looking at the flash cards. TPR: The “I can touch my ears…..” Rhythm game. Using tambourines to establish a beat we then say the words and do the actions to the beat. Will do this sitting down and then standing up. FINISH: Goodbye song, “everybody stand up”, “Line up and put on your shoes.” (children) “I am lining up and putting on my shoes!”. One on one time lesson review, and giving out Stella Dollars. See you tomorrow!!!!!
