  2. 中国菜 • There are thousands of dishes in Chinese cuisine; • Has huge influence on cuisine of other Asian countries; • Most dishes are very regional; • Most dishes are time-consuming to prepare; • Popular ways of preparation: stir fry, deep fry, steam, cook with soy sauce, boil, etc. • Tend to use very fresh ingredients, such as alive animals; • Some ingredients may be very expensive; • Raw food, even raw vegetables are not popular. Meat is usually well done.

  3. 中国菜 • There are 8 famous regional styles in Chinese food which are very different from each other. 川菜 are usually spicy and tingling, 粤菜 use a lot of seafood and rare animals and there are also many different kinds of soup.淮菜 is usually a little sweet, etc.
