Unit 5: Weather
Weather describes the state of the atmosphere at different times and places, which includes various phenomena such as rain, snow, and thunderstorms. This unit explores key terms like drizzle, blizzard, hurricane, tornado, and conditions like warm, chilly, and clear. It highlights the effects of extreme weather events, including flooding and dangerous storms, while emphasizing the importance of preparation. Learn how meteorologists forecast these conditions and the tools they use, such as thermometers and wind socks. Understanding weather helps us stay safe and informed.
