  7. ●EOC Status Information 1. Earth Observation Center of JAXA entrusted RESTEC to manage & operate of EOC work from 1st. April. this year. Purpose is to ①increase personnel resources for developing earth observation satellites, GOSAT/GCOM/GPM/ALOS-2 & ground system by moving EOC members to TKSC. ②reinforce and progress utilizationandpromotion for earth observation satellites, example disaster monitoring through cooperation with Asian area. Entrust Schedule ① Oct. 06~E of March 07 : trial operation phase ② April 07~ : overall & generaloperation phase

  8. ●EOC Status(Cont’d) JAXA EOC member moved to Tsukuba Space Center (TKSC) except one person (liaison). (From April 07, RESTEC have responsibility to manage and operate EOC under the management contract. ) 5. From now & on going JAXA conduct supervision and control to EOC ’s contractor from TKSC at every opportunity when JAXA demands each project’s supervision.
