  2. History of Tibet • The history of Tibet is a very long one, one that can be traced back to over two thousand years. (red highlighted part is Tibet)

  3. Places to visit in Tibet • There are many places to visit in Tibet there is the Sera temple (has a a long history of fighting monks), Lhasa (known as the roof of the world) and the potala palace (built for a place of meditation) The Sera temple

  4. The Sera temple • The Sera temple has a long history of fighting monks. • There is a debating garden, where monks go after they are finished with their morning exercising, to engage in some debates about life. It is thought to be a whetstone, one to sharpen the mind.

  5. Lhasa • In Tibet, there is a place called Lhasa. It is known as the place of the gods, roof of the world, place of the gods, etc. • It was once the fortress of the Dalai lama when he was exiled.

  6. The Potala palace • The Potala palace was originally built by a Tibetan king, Songtsen Gampo, it was originally a present to his bride, but later on, the palace was then reconstructed to make a place of quiet meditation, by Lozang Gyatso.
