Swamps. Dylan & Nick J. Many animals live in swamps. Anacondas are reptiles. They squirm around swamps. Cougars are mammals. They hunt for prey in the woods around the swamp. Caimans a re reptiles like alligators. They live in the very watery part of a swamp and hunt for food.

  3. Many animals live in swamps. Anacondas are reptiles. They squirm around swamps. Cougars are mammals. They hunt for prey in the woods around the swamp. Caimans are reptiles like alligators. They live in the very watery part of a swamp and hunt for food.

  4. A swamp is a very wet, watery place. Swamps have many plants and animals. Swamps can be near a pond or a lake. There is barely any light because of all the trees and bushes. There are many swamps in the world. The weather in the swamp can be different. Sometimes it rains and sometimes it’s sunny. It’s average temperature is 60 degrees Fahrenheit.

  5. There are many plants that grow in the wet swamps. Tall cypress trees loose their needles in the fall. Poison ivy is poisonous to our skin and makes us itch! It has Three leaves. Moss can grow on a lot of things. It is green.

  6. The Egyptian plover is a bird that sits in a crocodile’s teeth and picks the food stuck between teeth out of its mouth. He is like a crocodile’s dentist! He helps the crocodile and he gets food in return. We enjoyed learning about awesome swamps!
