  1. The case of the stolen...... cheese BY KRISTIAN

  2. In a giant, newly built mansion, there lived some rodents. They lived as a “hole” community.

  3. They had smaller houses within the mansion. There were cheese shops full of all kinds of cheese: cottage cheese, ricotta cheese, even cheddar cheese. The smaller houses were made of sticks and stones.

  4. They were about as big as a human’s shoe box. In the center was a town hall building that was as big as three shoe boxes.

  5. In the town hall building there was a mayor named Bob. He was a really good mayor, but he had a bottomless stomach. He was nice to people, but food was more important.

  6. He liked cheese! He couldn’t help eating cheese for every meal. He ate cheese for breakfast, cheese for lunch, and cheese for dinner. Since he was the mayor, he had a lot of money, so he bought out the entire cheese shop. ‘’Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy’’ the owner asked?

  7. Everybody else didn’t think what he was doing was fair, because the cheese shop owner, Jerry couldn’t keep enough cheese for the mayor and everyone else had to do without. Some rodents said that the mayor could eat more cheese in an hour than all the rodents could eat in a day.

  8. Meanwhile, at the Rodent Agency….. “Where’s my coffee Matt? And don’t forget the cheese cubes!” yelled Jeff. “Stop yelling, I think I heard the cheese phone,” said Emma. “If you think you heard the cheese you might not have,” said Jeff.

  9. Emma ran to try to tackle Jeff, she wasn’t happy about his comment. She tackled him to the floor and he fell backwards. The phone continued ringing. Matt answered the phone quickly.

  10. “Hello, I’m inviting everyone to a Cheese Buffet in the afternoon.” Matt asked, “Who is this?” “Oh, sorry, this is Jerry, the Gerbil – I own a cheese shop. I need your help at a buffet. Please come and help me find whoever is stealing and eating the cheese before the buffet starts this afternoon. Can you do it?’’ ‘’We will do it!’’ said Matt’’

  11. They went to the cheese shop, caught the mayor and arrested him for stealing cheese. Since then, no one else ran out of cheese again!
