AugustusAugustus’s rule of Rome lead Rome into its golden age with an organized government and advancing culture. His time of being a Roman leader benefited the future of his country. Rome became rich Rome’s business increased and cities became busy. Shopkeepers were wealthy because of the money they were making off their product. Donari The same coins were used throughout the empire which made exchange of items easier. No Tariffs There were no tariffs, or taxes placed on goods coming into the empire. Pox Romana The Pox Romana was a 200 period of peace in which Rome’s culture and people prospered. Their civilization spread and culture blended with others. Manufacturing Center Rome became a manufacturing center for pottery, bronze, and woolen cloth. JurisPrudentes The Twelve Tables laws were rewritten with the help of JurisPrudentes so laws would be fair for new conquered territories. Advanced Civilization Rome grew and the rest of the world grew with it. Their culture spread and other cultures blending into Rome. Standardization Legal procedures were changed so that they were the same in all parts of their country.
