The Incas built a series of roads throughout the Andes, now called the "Inca Trail"; follow in their footsteps on this adventure to the "Lost City".<br>

  1. INCA TRAIL TO MACHU PICCHU (2 Days, 1 Night) Machu Picchu is an ancient Incan spiritual haven. In 2007 its ruins were declared as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, it is now one of earths most famous trekking destinations. The Incas built a series of roads throughout the Andes, now called the "Inca Trail"; follow in their footsteps on this adventure to the "Lost City".

  2. DURATION: 2 Days, 1 Night • TYPE:Trek with hotel (hotel costs included)  • DIFFICULTY (1 - 5): 3, Moderate. One day of hiking and one day of exploratory walking. Includes moderate inclines and declines. Trek preparation is optional. • MAJOR HIGHLIGHTS: • Professionally, guided tour of several Incan Archeological Sites (including Machu Picchu) • Wildlife present throughout the first day  • Multiple micro-climates, including cloud forests, rain forests and mountain • Thermal baths (hot springs) available    

  3. PRICING:  DEPOSIT for both PRIVATE and GROUP Tours: $200/Trekker. We use this deposit to secure your hiking permits and your tickets for Machu Picchu in advance.   4. WHAT'S INCLUDED: TRANSPORTATION: All transportation is included. However, if you would like to take the Vistadome train back to Cusco after the trek, rather than the "normal" train, tickets are an additional $70.  FOOD: All food is provided. We will have lunch for you on the trail and we will enjoy a wonderful dinner together in AguasCalientes at the best restaurant in town! Breakfast on the second day will be served at the hotel.  WATER: Kusa Treks will provide you with bottled water at the start of our trek and more bottled water at lunch. We do suggest bringing extra water with you, as staying well hydrated is important in the Andes.  PROFESSIONAL GUIDES: Kusa Treks strives for greatness and this starts and ends with our people. All of our trek leaders are locals to this region and studied Tourism and/or Archaeology at a University. They are all fluent in English and are passionate about their work. Trust me when I say, there is no better person to be on the Inca Trail with than a Kusa Treks guide, you are in incredible hands. 

  5. PERMITS & TICKETS: Once you pay the trip deposit we will purchase your permits for the Inca Trial and Machu Picchu. The government issues permits in your name, under your passport number and for a specific time-frame; they cannot be changed once confirmed, which is why the initial deposit is non-refundable. We will also secure your train tickets and entrance tickets to Machu Picchu.  MEDICAL EMERGENCY: Alright, emergency sounds a bit dramatic. However, you can be confident in your Trek Leader. All of Kusa Trek's guides receive extensive First Aid training from a qualified and licensed physician, and we conduct mandatory review/training sessions twice a year. Your Trek Leader will carry a Hiking First Aid kit (including oxygen), and should the need arise we will get you off of the trail and to a medical facility as quickly, and comfortably, as possible.
