  2. Purpose • Provide new faculty with an orientation to the central research support offices. • Meet the people that ensure your sponsored projects run smoothly. • Understand how to successfully navigate UW policy and procedures for submitting proposals to external sponsors.

Presenters • OR - Office of Research – Welcome • OSP – Office of Sponsored Programs • GCA – Grant & Contract Accounting • MAA – Mgmt Accounting & Analysis • C4C – Center for Commercialization • EHS – Environmental Health & Safety • OAW – Office of Animal Welfare • HSD – Human Subjects Division • COI – Conflict of Interest

  4. Event Outline • Sign-In • Breakfast reception (drinks & pastries) • Welcome message from Dave Eaton • 15-30 minute reports from each office • Handouts (To be held twice per year)
