Using pictures in Microsoft applications. Using Word. You can insert a picture from many sources. Inserting a picture into a Word document from Clip Art. Open a Word document. Go to Insert / Picture / Clip art. You can now choose your picture from a file. Select the picture you want.

Resizing your picture When you click on the picture you will see these boxes appear in the corners and middle of the picture outline Put your cursor onto a corner Your cursor will change Drag it outwards to enlarge the picture, drag it towards the centre to make it smaller Eleri Hanley / June Snape
