What the book is about. The book is about a young girl who lives in Germany in world war 2 . And finds a concentration camp in the woods. Rose feels empathy for the prisoners and gives them her food, even though she has a little amount, it is more than they have . One day the USA soldiers broke in to the camp and let them all free, but Rose unfortunately she got shot by a USA soldier.
