Haiku. Name: Andrea Sowers Teacher: Dr. Lamb Date: 11/16/08. What is a Haiku?. A Haiku is a form of Japanese poetry consisting of three lines and 17 syllables. The first and third line have 5 syllables and the second has seven (5/7/5). Seen in plain daylight

  3. While Haikus are normally about nature, they can show up where you least expect it. See the below statement form Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and how it was turned into a Haiku.
