  7. Impacted: • 54 Million Americans have a disability (19 %) • 2.9 Million Texans have a disability (11.6%) • 214,805 Thousand people in Dallas County have a disability (9.1%) 1 out of 4 people are Impacted by disabilities through family, personal, or working relationships….. TODAY that is 25%

  8. Impacted: • Only 15% of people with disabilities in the U.S. were born with them. • One in five Americans 20% will be disabled sometime in their lives. • In the past ten years, the number of Americans with disabilities increasedby 25%
