  1. Theory: The Umbrella Man JFK CSI Assassination

  2. Overview • On November 22,1963 JFK was assassinated by a man named Lee Harvey Oswald… or was he? We think maybe but he had help from the mysterious Umbrella man. • The Umbrella Man was the only person in Dealey plaza to have an umbrella. Keep in mind that it is against Secret Service directives to have an umbrella along the president’s route. So why was this fellow not arrested? Better yet, who was this mysterious man? And what was he doing???

  3. The MAN + =? • We think the Umbrella is unlike most people not Louis Steven Witt. We think he is a scapegoat to take the blame for the real Umbrella man. • Years after Kennedy's death the mysterious Umbrella man was “Identified” as Louis Steven Witt however when questioned Witt’s story failed to match the Umbrella man’s actions. • While many accept Witt as the Umbrella man, we believe differently. First, Witt was “identified” far too quickly after his photo was released. Second, his story did not match the Umbrella man’s actions. Both of these point to the idea that Witt was a scapegoat, and is only pretending to be the Umbrella man to protect him.

  4. The Umbrella • The umbrella is a fascinating puzzle it might have been associated with Hitler, a CIA weapon, or just used to heckle Kennedy and not even be involved (ha ha not really).

  5. A signal? • One likely idea is that the umbrella was used as a signal to a) begin firing, b) that JFK wasn’t dead and more shots were needed, c) he was dead and no more shots were needed, or d) a last minute display of who killed JFK. • This is the more likely theory, since it could be anyone with any association.

  6. Nazi • We don’t have much but what we know is that Kennedy's dad was part of a Nazi appeasement group. And if you look at the tigers mouth from a Nazi cartoon he is holding a umbrella that says appeasement

  7. The Dart • This theory we all think is the real one. • The umbrella had a paralyzing flechette that you see in the film, JFK holds his neck to prepare Kennedy for the head shot. • I know what your thinking, wouldn’t they have found the flechette? The reason they didn’t find it is because it complty dissolved in JFK’s throat.
