  8. How you can use this to assign subjects. 2012-2013 PY 2013-2014 PY This forces the system to only use the math test as the placement test which pulls the math test forward. It doesn’t allow the opportunity for Reading to set the EFL. Math ABE I H Math ? Read ABE IL Read ABE IH Read A Reading test could be given after the 3 day initial assessment window in order to gauge skill level and obtain competencies for reading without impacting the EFL placement. In 2012-2013 the student was assessed based on the Reading test. In 2013-2014 the student and instructor decide that the instructionally sound course of action is to study Math.   9. Impact on AHS and ASE students 2012-2013 PY 2013-2014 PY In 2013-2014 the student doesn’t take a test so there is no way to place them. There is no NRS data on the student. Which means… Math ASE Low Level Gain No EFL Gain Read ASE Low No Secondary Credential Cohort No Entered into Post Secondary Credential Cohort In 2012-2013 the student enters an AHS program as ASE Low. By the end of the year they have completed half of their credits and gotten their automatic level gain. NRS and State Assessment Policies require all students with 12 hours or more contacts hours within the program year to have a placement. Apr 2nd Jun 30th Hope ●Opportunity ● Jobs
