  1. GEOG 346: Day 8 Citizen Participation

  2. Housekeeping Items • Today I have the pleasure of presenting two community planners from the City of Nanaimo, Deborah Jensen and Chris Sholberg, who will talk about engaging citizens in the planning process, using the example of recent Harewood Community Plan. • While they’re getting setting up, I also want to nail down who is leading us out into the field next Tuesday.

  3. Housekeeping Items • Did anyone go hear the speaker on air quality in the Fraser Valley last night? • I will pass around the Call for Contributions for the “Avenues” Sustainability conference. • I also put the poster for International Development Week in the folder and here’s the URL for more information: http://www.viu.ca/internationalization/IDW2014.asp
