  1. Olympic Games Olympic Games - largest international complex sport competitions, which are conducted every four years. The tradition, which existed in ancient Greece, was revived at the end the 19th Century by French public figure Pierre by de [Kuberten]. The Olympic Games, the known also as summer Olympic Games, were conducted every four years, beginning from 1896, with exception of the years, which arrived to the World Wars. Were in 1924 founded the winter Olympic Games, which initially were conducted in the same year as summer.
