  1. Rap sheet of carbon

  2. Partners in Crime The main disadvantages of Kyoto protocol is that payments from rich countries to fund development schemes in poor nations are unequally distributed because investors choose stronger, more stable states instead of much poorer nations. The current system isn’t working because it lumps too many countries together and ignores the socio-economic gulfs between them. HOW DID THIS HAPPEN

  3. When you look around yourself at blaring horns and buzzing A.C’s; do you see industries and technologies making an impact or do you see identities lost. Our own identities taking a toll as it crashes into the myriad of machines and falls down lifeless. Now, still a chance remains. Its up to you to grab it while it still exists and make a difference or later maybe it would be too late, even to regret.

  4. Average temperatures have climbed 1.4 degrees Fahrenheit (0.8 degree Celsius) around the world since 1880 The 20th century's last two decades were the hottest in 400 years and possibly the warmest for several millennia How earth’s boon became our bane! • Arctic ice is rapidly disappearing, and the region may have its first completely ice-free summer by 2040 or earlier Glaciers and mountain snows are rapidly melting—for example, Montana's Glacier National Park now has only 27 glaciers, versus 150 in 1910. • Coral reefs, which are highly sensitive to small changes in water temperature, suffered the worst bleaching—or die-off in response to stress—ever recorded in 1998, with some areas seeing bleach rates of 70 percent

  5. Making a difference…… Help spur the renewable energy market and cut global warming pollution by buying wind certificates and green tags. Even when electronic devices are turned off, they use energy. Save over 1,000 lbs of carbon dioxide For youngsters.. use cycles rather than two-wheelers Replace 3 frequently used light bulbs with compact fluorescent bulbs. Save 300 lbs. of carbon dioxide Trees suck up carbon dioxide and make clean air for us to breathe. Save 2,000 lbs. of carbon dioxide per year Go for green buildings or zero net energy buildings. Use public transport or go for carpooling. Save 790 lbs. of carbon dioxide per year

  6. This ain’t rocket science

  7. Alternates to alibi: our proposal • Solar Island: • Consists of an outer steel frame called “torus” and a membrane on which flat solar panels are horizontally placed • Floats on a cushion of air and is immune to waves and wind due to “ring height”(up to 20 m) • Electric hydrodynamic motor are fixed every 10 m along the circumference and can align its solar panel to the sun • At the center of the island the feeding water is supplied through the rotary joints which will be transform to steam by solar energy • Solar energy will produce electricity. Steam will go to the condensing chamber and will be converted to distilled water

  8. Action speak louder than words C-yonara Bye-bye to carbon
