  2. Incumbent Workforce Training Voucher Program • Overview • Program has not been released • $30 million of the $200 million available • First come, first serve • For state- designated targeted industries

  3. Incumbent Workforce Training Voucher Program • $500,000 per eligible company • $4,000 per eligible employee • Reimbursement rate of up to 50% • Training must commence with 6 months of application submittal and be completed by June 30, 2013.

Forecasting • The Governor’s Office of Workforce Transformation (OWT) has developed an Employment Forecast Tool • To help assess current and future business workforce needs in the key industry clusters in Ohio • OWT, the Ohio Business Roundtable with Accenture have developed the Forecasting Tool, which is currently being beta-tested in Cincinnati with a small group of employers. • Working on statewide deployment of tool

  5. The forecasting tool will capture information about job openings, education, experience and skills required for current and future jobs.
