  5. General questionnaire STEPS • Inventarisation of non-standard teaching methods for university level physics teaching: • Problem based learning • Student-centred learning • Blended learning (on-line/face tot face) • Laboratory based learning • Distance learning • E-learning • ………

  6. Result general questionnaire • Long list of universities physics departments with contact-persons • Provisionally arranged in categories • Follow-up to be discussed in the working session Ghent

Preparation evaluation MM in WG3, I • Set of recommended MM from MPTL for evaluation during 2006/2007 by members of WG3 or their collegues • Topics: • Classical mechanics, • Optics, • Thermal and statistical physics • Atomic and quantum physics • Electricity, magnetism, Electrodynamics (EG3 made a contribution to the evaluation)

Preparation evaluation MM in WG3, II • Evaluation after 2006/2007 on criteria: • How it was used? • Which problem is addressed? • User-friendliness? • Documentation, goal-description, obvious use of MM, • Correctness, flexibility, effectiviness • Scale of application: individual or university? • Grading system; scientific way?
