  1. Independent Enquirers I can take responsibility for my life, I believe I can influence what happens, and make wise choices.

  2. My Photography; WARNING whilst there are some images of the Olympics this is not an Olympics Assembly.

  3. Valentines Day 14th Feb 2013

  4. What has this made me think? • I haven’t got a clue what the truth is. • It is playing out as Soap Opera/Reality TV. • There is a danger of ReevaSteenkamp becoming defined as the Murdered Girlfriend of Oscar Pistorius not the person she really was. • Few people know the actual facts at this stage. • A large number of people will have formed an opinion.

  5. Why is active thinking important? • 24hr News/ Reality TV/Social Media • The Immediate vs the Considered • Unthinking recipient vs Independent Enquirer • What have you heard/read and taken at face value rather than queried • Have you speculated and added your own comments to situations without consideration for the truth or all those involved.

  6. Do you think actively and make wise choices? The Quakers view on spoken words: • Are they kind? • Are they necessary? • Are they helpful?

  7. Mahatma Gandhi (1869-1948) Keep your thoughts positive because they will become your words. Keep your words positive because they will become your actions. Keep your actions positive because they will become your habits. Keep your habits positive because they will become your character. Keep your character positive because it will become your destiny.
