  2. When are hurricanes most likely to occur? • Hurricane season starts June 1st • When the water is 80 degrees and 200 feet. • They get there intense energy from warm water.

  3. What is a hurricane watch • A Hurricane Watch is issued by the National Weather Service when there is a threat of a hurricane conditions within 24-36 hours.

  4. What is a hurricane warning • A Hurricane Warning is issued by the National Weather Service when hurricane conditions are expected in 24 hours or less.
