About safety… • All activity is carefully monitored at all times. • All content posted/created/uploaded is archived and can be seen, printed or retrieved at any time by system administrators and teachers, even if it has been deleted. • Students also have the ability to report anything they read/view that they feel is inappropriate.

  9. Teacher Guidelines • Do not post confidential student information. • MBC is an extension of your classroom. What is inappropriate in your classroom is inappropriate online.

  10. Student Expectations • Never post personal info such as phone numbers, addresses, birthday, etc • Do NOT plagiarize and be sure to cite resources • Use appropriate language, avatars and nicknames.

  11. Student Expectations (cont.) • Do NOT use “chat/text” lingo. • Do not insult fellow students or their postings. Use only constructive criticism and comments. • Bullying and harassment will not be tolerated.

  12. Remember… • Once anything is posted online, it cannot be taken back. Even if deleted, there are still older versions out there that can be viewed. • Report content that is inappropriate. This is part of being a responsible digital citizen.
