Bacon griddle method • Step 1 • Preheat the griddle to 325 to 375 degrees max. When water sputters when you sprinkle it on the surface, it's ready for bacon. • Step 2 • Use tongs to place the bacon strips one-by-one in a single layer onto the surface of the griddle. • Step 3 • Cook the bacon for 5 to 8 minutes on the first side. When the bacon reduces in size and becomes brown on the edges, use the tongs to flip the slices over. If grease begins to pool around the slices, use a silicone spatula to scrape the excess grease down into the oil reservoir. • Step 4 • Place bacon strips on a plate lined with a few napkins to help absorb grease. Bacon will crisp up as it rests.
