  2. Echinoderm Characteristics • Endoskeleton – inside body • 5-part radial symmetry in most • Deuterostome • Being deuterostomes and having endoskeltons make them much more like us than any other invertebrates

  3. Water Vascular System • Unique to echinoderms • Water is taken in through tube feet in rays (arms), pumped to center, and then back out. • This system carries out respiration, circulation, and movement.
