  3. We are not born knowing how to worship properly. “Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.” – Lk. 11:1

  4. God desires to be worshipped. “You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.” – Mt. 22:37

  5. God desires to be worshipped. “the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers [i.e. “Acceptable Worshippers” - MDM] will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him” – Jn. 4:23b

  6. All forms of worship are not acceptable to God. (John 4:21-24) Jesus said to her, "Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father. "You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. "But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." (NKJV)

  7. All forms of worship are not acceptable to God. “You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews.” - Jn. 4:22

  8. Acceptable Worship Requires God’s Pre-Approval “the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth” – Jn. 4:23a
