Learning Centre • A ‘room’ set aside for students to acquire learning, facilitated by supervisors and monitors. • Students: a sweatshop in china • Bridge: get some fans in your learning centre. • Point of a sweatshop: produce produce produce • Take the pressure off them by valuing them for who they are and not just what they produce.

  5. 3. Office • The designated, individual workspace where a student can apply his mind to learning • Students: solitary confinement • OFFICE: Only Face Forward In Confined Environment • Bridge: selling, auctioning or rewarding off a second desk

  6. 4. Merits • Honorable currency for rewarding good behavior • Students: Crashed Economy • Bridge: build a currency system

  7. 5. Scoring Station • A designated area in the Learning Centre where students mark their work • Students: Offline Google portal – • where the answer to every question is found … • Bridge: Surprise Raids

  8. 6. Ace • the role model that students all look up to and can relate to. • Students: irrelevant • Bridge: get seniors to write their essays on Ace and Christi facing today’s life challenges. • This will help students open up!

  9. 7. Monitor • The supervisor’s assistant who answers a specific flag and handles specific non-academic duties. • Students: Airline attendant • Bridge: You’re all heading to the same destination – try make the journey for the student an enjoyable one

  10. 8. Supervisor • The teacher or senior staff member in a learning centre, sometimes qualified in numerous subjects. • Student: KGB • Bridge: Use your influence to draw out every child’s potential – not to crush them.

  11. 9. Principal • The most senior teacher, leader and manager of a school. • Student: Mafia Boss • Bridge: Apply a hedge of protection around your school – not a cocoon.

  12. Conclusion • Remember: as staff that you have real people sitting in those offices, and your success is achieved by connecting effectively with those students and helping them to find their destiny in God
