  1. Plastic Surgery By: Sara Ahdi

  2. Why do women choose to go under the knife? • unhappy with a body part • Teased about it growing up • Low self esteem • - want to improve appearance • Quest to perfection • Obsession

  3. Brides… • -Every women wants to look their absolute best on their big day! Ex: if one has always been unhappy with their small breasts, this is a perfect time to enlarge them not only for yourself but to fit perfectly in that gown!

  4. Teenagers… • More and more young adults are beginning to have plastic surgery as well, myself included. • In todays society first impressions are based on your look

  5. After surgery • After seeing the final results, almost all women are happier! • New look, confidence, beautiful, etc • Some women still want more! • When one imperfection is fixed, why shouldn’t the other be? • This leads to having more plastic surgery done • Psychologically you can become obsessed • Emotionally • it might take a bit of time to adjust to your new look • If you’re unhappy with the results, it can lead to depression

  6. My opinion? • I believe that plastic surgery is a personal choice. If you want to fix something, why not? If it makes you happier, why not? This does not necessarily mean you’re unhappy with your appearance or have insecurities. • I inherited my father’s Iranian nose & after graduating high school my parent’s agreed to pay for my surgery! This was the greatest gift I received from them! -My look changed, my voice, & my smile just a bit! • Would I have more plastic surgery? • In the future yes
