  2. What is franchising? Franchising is used in the world of business. It is the act of building a chain of stores that all have the same business model. Some examples of franchises are popular fast food places like McDonalds, Subway and Burger King, although there is many kind of franchises.

  3. How it works In the beginning there is always a large scale business with a lot of success. In order to make the business even larger they give small business owners the chance to buy a portion of the business and start their own small business based on the larger one. Therefore the larger business becomes larger with the success of the smaller business.
