  2. Characters • Julian: Julian likes to tell stories. He is the main character. He lives one block away from Gloria. • Gloria: Gloria likes to brainstorm and she just moved to Julian’s neighborhood. Gloria is Julian’s friend!

  3. Setting • In the beginning the story took place at Gloria’s house. And in the middle and at the end it was at Julian’s house.

  4. First • Julian was walking down the street alone. He had no friends that lived near him. About one block away he saw a moving truck. He went to see what was going on.

  5. Next • He heard a voice. He looked behind him. He saw a girl in a yellow dress, about the same age as him.

  6. Then • They went to Julian’s house for a snack. They made a wish kite in the garage. Gloria said the wishes will come true if they blow off the kite when you fly it.

  7. Finally • They tie their wishes to the kite. They fly until the pieces of paper fly off.

  8. Personal Review • I would recommend this author because I thought the story was very interesting. Gloria knew that very interesting way to make wishes come true. I would recommend this story to any one who likes a good story.
