  2. Who are USAL? • Founded in 2001 • Branches and service points throughout Hampshire & Isle of Wight • Providing affordable loans, current accounts, Budgeting accounts and saving accounts for all our members.

How does USAL work? • Not-for-profit organisation • No external shareholders • Any profits made are used to secure our future, improve our services, and returned to members in the form of dividends • People who join a credit union are called its members, and the credit union is run purely for their benefit.

  4. How are we regulated • Prudential Regulation Authority • Financial Conduct Authority • Covered by the FSCS up to £85,000
