  2. Mõnikord on vaja osa sõnast viia järgmisele reale • Kas tead, et see on võimalik? • Selleks, et sõnu poolitada peab teadma esimest nelja reeglit!

  3. POOLITAMISE REEGLID! • Üksik kaashäälik täishäälikute vahel viiakse järgmisele reale: mi-na, pu-na-ne, va-lu-tab.

  4. 2 REEGEL • Pikk või ülipikk kaashäälik lahutatakse tähtede vahekohalt: kin-nas, Kal-lis, Hüp-pas.

  5. 3 REEGEL • Kaashäälikuühendi viimane häälik viiakse järgmisele reale: kõr-ge, as-tun, kart-sin.

  6. 4 REEGEL • Ühte tähte ei jäeta rea lõppu ega viida järgmisele reale: ema, onu, õde, kaua.
