This project focuses on the development and implementation of a rapid inspection system for complex surfaces using non-contact sensors. The approach includes online sensor standoff control and in-process registration to ensure accurate and efficient inspection. With a fixtureless inspection method, the system enables faster alignment and registration refinement, allowing for the inspection of free-form complex geometries. Ultimately, the project aims to improve inspection speed and quality, enhancing manufacturing processes.
