  2. Welcome toSt. Peter! • Today is Good Shepherd Sunday. This is a touching remembrance of the way our Risen Lord Jesus takes care of us. We are His sheep and lambs, a very soft and comforting picture of Christ’s relationship with us. May you be strengthened by today’s theme.

  3. Welcome toSt. Peter! • There are friendship registers at the end of each row of chairs. • Please take a moment to give us your information so that we have a record of your time with us today. • Thank you!

  6. Prayer before Worship • Dear Jesus, as you serve us as the Good Shepherd, we truly lack nothing. Our sinful hearts think differently, but your message of care for us is as special as a shepherd’s care for his sheep. Lead us through life to the eternal sheep pen in heaven. Amen.

OUR COMMUNION PRACTICE • In the Sacrament of Holy Communion, we express unity with our Savior and those who share our faith and stand on the teachings of God’s Word. • Therefore, we invite to our altar those who are members of St. Peter or members of the WELS/ELS. Visitors who wish to commune are asked to speak to a pastor before the service begins.
