  2. What is the G.E.M.? • The Green Energy Machine • Made by IST Energy • Is a trash compactor that generates energy • “It eats trash and craps out alternative energy”

  3. Specifications • Converts trash into “energy pellets,” • then transformed into electricity and gas heat. • Takes in agricultural waste, biomass, cardboard, food, manure, paper, plastic, wood. • Converts up to 3 tons daily • Yields 120 kilowatts of energy

  4. How it Benefits & SAVES $$$ Benefits • Maximizes the Waste-To-Energy transformation ratio • Cheap source of energy • Environmentally friendly How it Saves • SAVES $250,000 of energy YEARLY! • Eliminates the costs of businesses spending in disposal fees

  5. Although there are negatives… • Costs $850,000… a lot of $ to fork out • “but you gain it back in 3 years by saving $250k annually” • Takes up three parking spaces • Is about 8 feet tall… • Noisy to an extent

How this will affect the economy… • By more businesses going green! • Conserving energy, saving money, recycling, etc • Alternative Energy instead of solar • Cuts costs with very quick payback • Create more competition towards a new era • It would be nice to have in landfills… • Replace the inefficient & pollutant garbage incinerators
