Discovering Grabów nad Pilicą: A Glimpse into Our Community

Grabów nad Pilicą Municipality is rich in history and community spirit. Our main building houses the Local Council, led by Headman Euzebiusz Strzelczyk. The Public School, named after General Władysław Anders, has served the community since 1973, originally the site of a mansion. Our church, dedicated to the Holy Trinity, was constructed between 1907 and 1912 under Pastor Stanisław Drąg. We also honor our local heroes, including Mary Komornicka, a renowned poet, with a monument unveiled in 2009, and another commemorating WWII paratroopers.

  1. My Country of Grabów nad Pilicą

  2. Municipality in Grabow This is the main building in my village. TheLocalCouncil is working here and headman Strzelczyk Euzebiusz.

  3. My School The school was built in 1973. Before the war, in its place was a mansion Komornickich. At the present time the school is divided into a primary school and gymnasium. The name of this school: Public School name of General Wladyslaw Anders.

  4. Church The present church was built between 1907-1912. Bears the name of the Holy Trinity. Pastor is Stanislaw Drąg.

  5. Monument to Mary Komornicka Monument unveiled on 8 March 2009 year. The 60th anniversary of the death of Mary Komornicka.Her memorial was designed by Thomas Górnicki.She was a poet, translator and a distinguished literary critic.

  6. Monument dedicated to the paratroopers, the soldiers of World War IIAction under the code name "Weller".
