  1. Click - “Internet Native Banner”

  2. Log in

  3. Type - SOAHOLD

  4. Click on Drop Down Arrow

  5. Click “Person Search”

  6. Type Patron Info Type in last name and first name to pull up patron record or SSS# in the ID field The % sign is a wild Card. EXAMPLE: Jul% would pull up julie, julia, juliet….

  7. NOTICE the Dummy Bar

  8. F8 = Enter

  9. Highlight Patron record In the ID box numbers that begin with the letter C will replace the SS# as the ID number. LGCY means the student had a record in SIS

  10. Shift + F3 or Click

  11. Place a Library Hold on a patron Record

  12. Click on the drop down menu If the cursor is not in the hold type field, press Control + “Page Down” to move bellow yellow bar.

  13. Select AR Accounts Receivable

  14. Type LIB …. In Reason field

  15. NEVER!!! Check Release BOX If the Release Indicator box is checked, then ONLY you can release the hold.

  16. Type in Amount DO NOT put the $ sign!

  17. Click on the Drop Down Menu

  18. Select “H5LB Lawrence Library”

  19. Click Save Icon or F10

  20. Notice the Dummy Bar

  21. Click X to Return Home

  22. Home

  23. To Return to Previous patron Record

  24. Type SOAHOLD press enter

  25. Click in Amount Field

  26. Remove Hold To Remove a hold you simply change the “from” field to today’s date. The hold will immediately be removed. However it will be viewable as a previous hold.

  27. Click Calendar in the To Field

  28. Click “Today” on the Calendar

  29. Click “OK”

  30. Click Save icon or F10

  31. Delete A Hold ONLY delete a hold if it was a staff error!!

  32. Click Record in the toolbar ONLY delete a hold if it was a staff error!! From the tool bar click on Record then scroll down to Remove

  33. Click Remove ONLY delete a hold if it was a staff error!! From the tool bar click on Record then scroll down to Remove

  34. Click Save Icon or F10

  35. ROLLBACK Rollback returns you to a blank patron screen. This is useful if you have multiple holds to enter.

  36. Click Arrow Rollback returns you to a blank patron screen. This is useful if you have multiple holds to enter.
