History • We have started our first collaboration through the online course in August 2010 (ECI, YAC) • Youth Leadership, Sustainability and Ethics • http://ecyg.wikispaces.com/YAC • Fruitful discussions, productive homework while building the ground for an inspiring collaboration within the team. • Sharing common values, vision and dreams But...... What can we actually do for our communities and for our Earth?

Action 1st step: Drafting our Youth Action Plans draft book –putting together all the project plans/projects 2nd step: Weekly Online meetings discussing and supporting how to materialize the Youth Action Plans(summaries: http://ecyg.wikispaces.com/Youth_Action_Plans) 3rd step: Growing the team; • using social media (with a great support from Atta, Daisy, Putri, Biozid, Dylane, SuMei) • Facebook page; http://www.facebook.com/?page=1&sk=messages&tid=1965153138499#!/home.php?sk=group_162791437106522&ap=1 • New Website as an interactive platform; http://ecyg.co.cc/ • Managing the group-allocating responsibilities. • Everybody can join and act for its own community! Vision • This conference topic reflects to our group´s vision: ´Building a global community for Sustainable Development´ We target; • Global youth collaboration in materializing action projects inspired by the Earth Charter, by involving all relevant social tiers and actors. Today´s outcome: • Will be reported to the UN International Year of Youth. • Will trigger FUTURE ACTIONS and inspire more young people

The Action Project Plans draftbook • Structure of every project plan: • Observing and chosing a challenge from our community • Identifying the suitable Earth Charter principle which will be used as guidance in order to face the existing challenge • Target Network; Which are the actors you want to involve and inspire with your project plan? (Strategic tip: How can they support you and with which resources?) • Short description of the project plan • Why, how, where, how long....- project management
